Pia brings 30 years of security experience, including 28 years as a police officer. She left the force in 2021 to focus on preventive work. Over the years, she has gained firsthand insight into the importance of crisis communication and holds a Master of Studies in Criminology and Leadership from the University of Cambridge. She has also studied Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security at the University of Maryland, with a special focus on radicalization and hostile threats. KPMG has launched Private Enterprise Tech Innovator – a global pitch competition aimed at startups. Five finalists will present their business ideas, similar to Dragon’s Den, to a distinguished jury. The winner will have the opportunity to compete in the global final alongside 22 other winners from different KPMG firms. Cosafe users can now send alarms to SOS Alarm’s emergency call center directly from the Cosafe app. Through a new collaboration agreement between Cosafe and SOS Alarm, the school safety concept is expanded, making more services available to schools. In the fall of 2020, Cosafe launched the School Safety concept across Sweden, and six months later, the company reached the milestone of 50,000 students. Now, Cosafe is taking the next step in developing the School Safety concept by signing a collaboration agreement with SOS Alarm Sverige AB regarding their School Security service. The partnership between SOS Alarm and Cosafe means that schools using Cosafe can connect their alarms directly to SOS Alarm’s emergency call centers.
